He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. So get ready. This is a long episode tonight. I think I watched the wrong thing there. Oh, no, this is, golly, I forgot how long ago I got this DVD set. But I grew up completely addicted to He-Man. Now, of course, you see behind Jess, you've got the sword of power. That is a drink cup that has been very elusive to a lot of people from the theaters.

3:54 And I had to camp out in Vestavia Hills for like three hours to get that thing on opening night last week. The Castle Grayskull you see behind her is from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe board game put out, I believe. Come on. is the the company that put that out the uh the company that makes zombicide uh we have not played it yet you can play single player modes on that um we've just not had a chance to break it out um and it looks like i don't have anything behind me that masters the universe well This is the Eternia play set behind me in the box.

4:39 Ladies and gentlemen, that's not a shell for a bookcase or anything. It's Eternia. It's Eternia with a black tablecloth over it. So just trust me, it's there. It's there. Yeah, I've got figures from my youth. I've got all the Origins figures that they've released so far. The play sets, the vehicles, you name it. I've been collecting it. I love He-Man. You talked about us having the sword. We did also acquire one of the Castle Grayskull popcorn bucket contraptions. It also has a drink. It's a drink and the little front opens up where you put candy. It's a popcorn bucket.

5:20 It's quite the little design they got. It's pretty cool. Brock said that it would not be out joining us tonight. It is staying in its plastic bag. He's not... He is not unearthing it, I guess, at this time. I know what the hunt has been like for those things. Yeah. If we ever become homeless, we're going to at least get a happy meal out of this deal. Well, I tried to find it. At one point, He-Man was huge to me. I was big into He-Man. I had a few of the toys, and then a thing called the real Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came along, and that kind of took over He-Man. I still like He-Man, like the cartoon, but That, I guess that was the thing for me.

6:01 I tried to find it. I couldn't find a picture of it, but I did have a He-Man cake one of my birthdays. That would probably be my fifth, fourth or fifth birthday. I would say that I had a He-Man cake. I just can't, I'll have to find it. If I eventually find it, I will share it. I may have checked with my mom. She may have it. Yeah. Is it, was it He-Man? Yeah, it was, it was He-Man himself. Nice. Well, and I, when I, we mentioned it on the podcast before too, but growing up and having a younger brother, my brother had all the, he had Castle Grayskull. He had Snake Mountain. He had the sets. He, you know, I got the benefit from playing with my younger brother and his toys growing up.

6:42 So things from He-Man to Thundercats to real Ghostbusters to, you know, seeing him get the Ninja Turtles. So, you know, that was a part of my life in, in that, uh, in that way. Yeah. that shared, you know, household seeing the toys that he got, but yeah, he, he had it all as well. I know that just to knock the negative stuff out of the way, even though it's really not negative, the box office did not perform as well as they were hoping. But... But I mean, granted, you know, kids today are not as exposed to He-Man as we were growing up for sure. So He-Man has kind of been a distant memory for a lot of people. A lot of kids haven't heard of it. Like my son, he wants to see the movie, but he's like, I know nothing about it. And he grew up with me. Well, I'd say for me, I had my, I had my living year old son and his twelve year old buddy and they both enjoyed it.

8:49 Like, you know, for them, as I was, I was explaining them, you have no idea how big of a deal Masters of the Universe and He-Man was when I was, you know, younger than you. Like it was, it was a the thing. yeah yeah yeah so an opening night i mean just the uh the the the audience that was that was with us in the theater looked like this was very telling of what the you're at a chicago concert right that was like when the wife and i went and saw alice cooper it was a lot a lot of gray hair in the in the uh in the in the stands like so there was Much like we talked about the crowd for Top Gun Maverick was very similar to the opening.

9:33 Because we went and saw it. We actually got a chance to see it Wednesday. They did an early preview with IMAX. Yeah, so a lot of gray hair was in there. But it was so much fun. Because before the movie, everybody got in there and was just chit-chatting about He-Man. And people came in with their Master of the Universe shirts and everything. It was great. It was a good camaraderie of like minds. And there were a lot of people in there for that preview on Wednesday night. But overall, the box office did not perform well. And everybody was... I've seen a lot of... you know, people talking gloom and doom over it. It's like, Oh no, we're not going to get the sequel or whatever.

10:14 But apparently Amazon, because it's an Amazon MGM production, Amazon's like, we're, we're doing sequels because their business model now is just a little bit different. You know, Amazon can, Amazon is making billions of billions of dollars. A little hundred million dollar movie is really not a dent in their budget because And so they can put money behind it and just, they're not tied down to traditional studio revenue sources. All we got to do is hold one Prime Day and they'll be good to go. Exactly. That's coming up next week, isn't it? Yeah, it's coming up. So what you're saying is we need like Walmart to buy Sony or something. Yeah.

10:56 I want to support Sony. I'd say Sony is one of the last ones everyone's tried to steal for a few decades. That's always why I'm saying that. Sony, you keep doing you. Don't go to Walmart. I saw an article just scanning here recently talking about the budget and the return at the box office and everything. It was like, yeah, it's underperforming in that aspect in the dollar amounts, but the overall response from the people who have seen it have not been disappointed by the movie. I haven't heard a lot of negative reviews on it um so yeah just how many people have tried to link the box office performance to jared leto a lot he is a very very easy whipping boy which unfortunately if they've not seen this movie they they need to have their because he is one of the brightest spots of this movie jared leto in this movie was incredible skeletor still let's just get into yes Yeah.

12:04 Skeletor absolutely stole this movie. Jared Leto was phenomenal. Oh, he, he lived up to the hype because he is the cliche eighties villain, cartoon villain. Like the voice wasn't there, but that laugh there was, it wasn't there totally, but the laugh was right. And it just had the little bit to it. Yeah. Yeah. And the way he spoke down to his henchmen and he had his lines, everything I wanted out of this movie, I got, I'm going to say this movie definitely performed in the fan service area. And it wasn't like beating you over the head with it. It had, I got told by the best thing about this movie. It did not take itself seriously. Right. And that made it wonderful.

12:46 Right. Yeah, I got to tell you, of course, you see next to Jess on her microphone. I said I was not going to buy any of the He-Man figures from the movie. My very first Masters of the Universe figure that I ever had as a kid was Trap Jaw. And so he gets some good screen time in this. Yeah. And he is awesome. Well, like he's a great character. So I had, I had to buy the, the, the Motu Chronicles figure, the movie version of this, of his figure. It's, it was my first figure and I'm like, I was excited for him. And yeah. And the figure up there looks really good too.

13:27 It's, it looks just like he did in the movie. that's one thing like every character like that has you know even like it maybe it may be a minute to two minutes total like every iconic action figure character they shine like like i can't think of his name i'm blanking on in the uh the eye the red laser eye oh triclops triclops like what little bit he was in perfect yeah yeah he was great i did want to see more of him but yeah yeah yeah they're doing the sequel from what you guys are saying Oh, boy. And we're going to talk about how they set up a sequel later. Like I said, we're going to get into all this. We're going to spoil it. We're going to tell you what characters are in there, what characters are not.

14:07 Well, there's more characters that were not in it, but we're going to talk about it. Can we break into it since it happens early in the movie? But I want to say this movie may have one of the best cameos passing of the torch moments in movies ever. Yes. How it's done is great. I know we want to explore territory, but it's what he said what made me happy. He goes, you're in my spot. Yeah. Yeah. What's that? Yeah. Uh, Adam is working out in the gym on earth. Yeah. And yeah, I will say before I jump into the earth sequences.

14:49 Could have done, could have done without, but they served this purpose. They fit and served, served somewhat of a purpose. And if, if the whole purpose of getting him to earth was to have Dolph Lundgren in that gym scene, then okay. Yeah. That worked. Yeah. But wasn't the story that he was like, like lost on earth for like many years. Well, essentially starts off Skeletor's attacking the attorney, uh, taking over his, so his mother sends him back, which does she say, send you back where I'm from? Did she say that? She's from earth. So she sent him and him and the sword of power to earth, which they unfortunately become separated. And Adam winds up in Oklahoma city of all places. Wow. That's random.

15:30 Yeah. He's working for an HR company. Yeah. It's very corporate, which is, it's wonderful. It's it's HR cringe. Oh my gosh. It is cringy. It is. It really is. But it's also accurate. It's very accurate. It's the cliched human resources type of setting and conversations and discussions. Yeah. Is this like the dad from Incredibles? Yes. The insurance agencies that cringe like that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'd say so. Yeah. Yeah. It's awful, but it's, it serves a purpose. It sets up something later in the movie that was pretty funny.

16:13 Yeah. Um, but yeah, it, the movie starts out where, where, you know, Adam's a kid, uh, on Eternia and, uh, there, you know, there's a, a young Tila there. Um, There's Duncan, Man at Arms, played by Idris Elba. Idris Elba. I want a Duncan movie. I would watch a Duncan movie. Just him. Yes. Just him. I mean, you know, Idris Elba. He was phenomenal. I would say probably Jared Leto and Idris Elba were the two that stole this movie. Hands down. You know, some of those... I didn't think some of his jokes as far as language was necessary, but still they were not over, they were not overkill, but it, like, like I said, this movie does not take itself seriously and they played into a lot of, a lot of jokes, um, for, for good or bad.

17:11 Uh, but, uh, Duncan was, he was, you know, training the, the younger kids and all. And, um, it just, it, it started out that way. They're training skeletor attacks. Uh, this, his mother, like you said, uh, and the sorceress sends him back to earth, sends him to earth, not back to earth, but sends him to earth. And he's hanging onto the sword flying through space and he loses, he loses grasp of the sword. And, um, And that's where he has to go find it on earth. He has no idea. He's on earth at fifteen years, essentially.

17:52 I think that's what they said. And he's been looking for the sword the whole time. Yeah, he's still, you know, in his world, you know, eternity is real and all that stuff. So the entire world thinks he's crazy, which there's a lot of good fun montages leading up to that. Yeah, and you hear him narrate. You hear the adult Adam narrate. Which I'm not going to lie, this is just me, but I heard shades of Michael Keaton the way he talked at times when he was narrating. A little bit. Especially that opening sequence. Yeah. Yeah, he's narrating all the childhood stuff that's going on. I'm He-Man. Yes, exactly. Exactly. And when it gets to earth, that's when it, the shot cuts to him and he's at a dinner with this really beautiful girl and he's telling her all this and she's like, what?

18:40 When she asked him, you know, tell me a little bit about yourself. Cause she wasn't in for what she got. Let's just say that she, yeah. Yeah. Um, and during this opening sequence where Duncan is training us and Skeletor starts, starts attacking Eternia, that's where you get to see Trap Jaw. Trap Jaw and Man at Arms becomes the first big bite. Uh, and man, I tell you, Trap Jaw was just so stinking awesome. Yeah. And so was Man at Arms. That was, I was so happy with how they portrayed Trap Jaw. Yeah. So happy. Um, But yeah, he's, he spends his time on earth looking for the sword. He's obsessed with the sword. He's got drawings of Eternia and the sword all over his place.

19:23 He's constantly looking up the swords online at work and that's where his boss, you know. He's been, you know, he's been, you know, he's been drawing the people that he knew from his life on Eternia and and giving them names because you know it's like this is how you know you everybody supposedly gets their name in the movie it's stuff that as adam was growing up and remembering these things he made these names up for these particular people in his life yeah well he's a ten-year-old boy so yeah right exactly exactly Yeah. And his boss at one point was like, Hey, could you stop looking up storage? You're kind of scaring the office. It's not really good for, you know, human resources kind of thing.

20:04 I'm a mall ninja. uh but yeah when he was you know explaining everything to the girl and she gets up and and leaves you know during the dinner then his it cuts back to him and his roommate sitting there he's like did you tell her about the sword yeah yeah he goes he probably could have let that out But, uh, yeah, go ahead. I would say, yeah, it just, we, we progress along as a, uh, eventually someone finds the sword for him. He, of course, you know, yeah, he's having his, his, his own HR meeting with his boss. Can you calm down at the same time? His phone is buzzing because he's been submitting, he's been submitting to like the sword forums and everything online.

20:48 Have you seen this sword? You know, like the old milk cartons. And he gets the text in the middle of the HR meeting. Is it like it was in the previews where it was on display? Yeah. That was real. That wasn't just like fluff for the preview. Pretty much everything in the trailer was in the movie, I believe. That's rare. Yeah. yeah but he walks into the it's in like a comic book collectible shop yeah yeah and actually brock says oh look they got my scarlet witch figure back there yeah one of my scarlet witches it's actually sitting over there on the other not that one but the one up there yeah up there jess leave it to brock to point it out yeah yes i had it on the shuffle oh my scarlet witch figure great Um, but he's going around these different nerds in this, but it's called the fright zone.

21:38 Uh, the name of the comic book shop, which is, which is a throw to, uh, Hordak and, um, okay. Yeah. The, the place at the fright zone. Yeah. And the logo is a skeleton head. Yeah. Yeah. I noticed the skeleton head, but I didn't think about the fright zone. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. The fright. I've actually got that place set in storage right now. Oh, nice. Yeah. That's the one that came with a, back in the eighties came with a like cloth puppet that you could. had a tree on it yeah yeah yeah right now yeah yeah so that was the name of the comic book store um he's in there just you know standing shoulder to shoulder with people hey uh he's trying to figure out who sent him that text yeah do you have my sword oh yeah then the one guy is like would you stop asking everybody i'm him come here But yeah, he grabs a sword.

22:30 He goes, turns out beast man makes his way to earth. Yeah. Which that was a good representation of beast man. Yes, and also Amazon doing its best product placement by Beastman. Beastman got hit by an Amazon truck. But, you know, you talk about fan service and something we had talked about prior to the movie coming out was are they going to use the song? Are they going to play that song? And sure enough, on the earth, right when Beastman's attacking. He looks out the window and goes, what's going on? Yeah, they did it. So if you have a, if you know what we're, if you know what we're referring to, that's definitely some He-Man fan service right there for sure.

23:16 So I want to get your guys taken. I'm tired of talking. Oh yeah. I don't want to jump around too much. I'm just trying to think where we go from here there. Of course, like I said, they, they, like I said, of course, Adam is wearing his cliche pink shirt, which I was very proud of to see that. Um, um, I'm trying to think all the, from the first part of it leads up to that. Um, I kept, I'm sure I think, yeah, no, I liked all that. But I mean, visually, like, it's cool. I said, that's the cool thing. I don't want to say I know we'll break down the whole story wise, but but everything like what a cool thing about it was it was a very modern movie, but not being modern. You know what I mean? Like I like it.

23:56 They did certain things and change a couple of things. But visually it's cool. Like I said, visually it hits home run everything. Like I tell you, even though I said like gray skull look cool, but to me, probably the most visually beautiful thing is seeing snake mountain. Oh yeah. Yeah. That shot of snake mountain was so good. Yeah. Yeah. Um, you know what I'm saying? It's like, you know, so the, yeah, the sequence beast man comes to look then because the sword has sent up a signal now that he has found it. So that's how beast man gets there. Tila comes down, takes him and takes him back to, um, back to Eternus. And he's, you know, doesn't realize that, you know, how it's not as what he thought it was, you know, it's, it's all been burned down and blah, blah, blah, since he was a kid.

24:44 So we returned back and then, um, The transformation scene, too, when he finally gets back. That was pretty good. There was the comment after the transformation scene about how the clothes he had on and now he's wearing this. He's like, I can't figure out what happened to my clothes. Do I get them back? Is this always going to be like that? That was pretty funny. How did he figure out how to know what to say? Well, because it all came from the sorceress, basically. Yeah, the sorceress pretty much told him what to say. Like, before she sent him off.

25:25 Yeah. yeah like to activate the sword say this but also there's there's also a funny callback to it when he's in his hr training they're talking about i have the something i have this i have the power so it's you know okay okay so was the whole intent that like he would come to earth with the sword and it would be like shazam and he could just like be like he man as a kid well this he was always told that the sword would be you know how he got back home yeah so okay yeah yeah That's interesting. Yeah. Hmm. Like, like I said, he kept trying to, like I said, he was wanting to get, he'd been looking for the sword, but yeah, once he, once he, he, he like he, I know he, he remembered the power of gray skull part, but he couldn't remember the second half, but once he raised it, which it plays into effect about the sword and him and the power in general, it kind of reveals later on.

26:18 Yeah. Dang. So I'm just going to cut straight to it because I've heard the spoiler already. Shira's going to be in the next one. That was a mid-credit scene. Mid-credits, yeah. Okay. So that's going to be good because it's not quite He-Man for me without Shira there as well. That's great, too. But Shira was just like, she carried half of it, too, with her stuff. So she was one of my favorites growing up. Yeah, and there was a reference to her earlier in the movie in a subtle way. Will she come back too? It's kind of like, oh, okay. So they mentioned her.

26:58 And then in the mid-credits scene, you actually see her from the back. You see her sword and everything. Nice. And they spoke from the back so that they could actually cast the actress that they wanted. Yeah, you could see the side of her. But you couldn't like, it wasn't like, oh, that's such and such. But you knew who you were looking at. Yeah. Oh, there was no question about it. It was her. Um, but it's not enough that they couldn't change the actress and be okay with it. Yeah. Okay. Uh, Bo. Hey, Bo. Hello. Bo has. Okay. Well, I guess I shouldn't have mentioned Shira so early. I'm so sorry, guys.

Um, okay that's let's just leave it frozen like that yeah you've got uh mood lighting bow yes did the power go out i don't know maybe it did because because of his light did he did he like find the sword i mean do we really know bo that well he could be he-man i don't know it's possible excuse me y'all sorry about that just coming over that uh three-week call yeah he's not mentioning oh he's gone yeah he lost his power i bet oh man okay well we do have some storms popping up around the state this time of night right now so yeah yeah they'll be back though yeah what else you guys want to tell me about the movie Well, I mean the fight sequence, the fight, excellent fight scenes too in the movie.

28:37 And Trap Jaw had, when Trap Jaw showed up to hang out. Yeah. Bo said my power just flashed in the private chat. Yeah. It's all good. He'll be back on. Um, yeah. When, uh, Before he transforms into He-Man, he encounters Trapjaw and some of his cronies, and that's when he does the transformation scene. So Trapjaw had three big fight scenes, two with Man-at-Arms, one at the beginning, one at the end, and then one in the middle with Adam as his first transformation into He-Man.

29:19 Yeah. And it's so funny. Cause as you know, as I was talking about, you know, when the first time he sees him, you know, he's like trap jaw and they're like, what? He was like, yeah, well that's what I named him, you know? Cause he's, you know, he's got a trap jaw. He's like trying to explain as a kid, you know, all these people that he's, he's seeing now as an adult and he grew, you know, it's like, he's recognizing them by the name that he, my name's Ezekiel. What are you talking about? Yeah. Yeah. And, uh, you know, there's, it did kind of sometimes i will admit and and my criticism is kind of very similar to kind of what pixel dan kind of pointed out it's like sometimes the jokes kind of like It got us like, okay, we can kind of move on a little bit.

30:07 You know, you've kind of hit this, you know, you've, you've kind of worn this out just a little bit. Like with, with Fisto, he's, you know, the guy in the purple and silver armor, and he's got a giant metal fist and they call him Fisto because, you know, ha ha. I liked the fist. Oh, really? That joke was made a little too often. It's like, okay, we get it. And again, for a movie that we have said, it's not going to take itself seriously. Okay, so I'm going to say something here that's probably going to trigger some folks here, but it sounds like they Paul Fagged it a little bit.

30:50 A hair. Yeah. A hair. Don't get me wrong, Paul Fagged is great in the movies that he does. He has a particular formula, and the way you guys are describing it, it seems like they might have gone... But not to the extent that Paul does. Okay. Yeah. It was just, it, it teetered into the territory, but then came back. Never go put full Paul fade. Exactly. We love Paul. I've met Paul. He's a wonderful man. Love him to pieces. Uh, really enjoyed the times I've interacted with him. Um, but yeah. Yeah. Um, so I gotta ask, okay. This was skipping around. How was the big fight?

31:31 Which one? The big fight. Oh. The man and Skeletor fight. Oh, it was incredible. Okay. We were talking about fight scenes, but we were kind of touching on, you know, the, the, the different fight scenes. Oh, you're good. Yeah. No, sorry. Unfortunately, I didn't have power for about thirty seconds. Frozen image there where everything just went blank. Yeah, it was kind of like a little bit dark, but a little bit of blue light and kind of like, okay, wait, mood lighting. Yeah. Um, The, and let's, let's talk about the fight leading up to Skeletor and He-Man. This takes place inside snake mountain because Skeletor has captured King Randor.

32:13 He-Man's dad, which is funny for me. Cause me and my wife, me and my wife watched a show on Fox about six, seven, eight years ago called the following where it was Kevin Bacon and the guy that played his dad, the played He-Man's father. He was a cult leader, and him and Kevin Bacon was kind of going, as soon as my wife saw it, she goes, hey, it's Joe. I just realized my camera's backwards now. No, you look fine. On me, I'm backwards. All right. But yeah, leading up to it, you know, they draw He-Man and the gang to Snake Mountain and Skeletor is staring out the big mouth of the snake and King Randor is there.

32:57 And so, uh, thus begins a sequence of a lot of fighting the, the bad guys, a lot of, you know, all the big bads there all at once. Pretty much. Yeah. Um, and. Unfortunately, Evelyn, Alison Brie is Evelyn. We haven't even touched on Alison Brie yet. Alison Brie is Evelyn. Perfect. Wonderful. Yes. So good. The dynamic between her and Skeletor is so good. He's amazing anyway. I can only imagine interacting with Jared Leto. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, it was fantastic. Yes, the two of them together in these roles were, I can't say nothing bad about it.

33:40 That's a perfect pairing. You wouldn't think it would be that way, but yeah, she was wonderful. Yeah, she was incredible as Evelyn. She had a big part in the movie. But leading up to this, Adam is... Adam is discovering his He-Man powers and everything and really not used to them yet. And learning how to grow up. The whole thing, like at the beginning of the movie, when Man-at-Arms is training them as kids, you know, King Randor comes down and starts to do a sword fight with Adam. And Adam's an itty-bitty kid. And King Randor knocks him down, you know.

Well, Evelyn has the sword. They have to go back to Greyskull to make it where Skeletor could have the power.

Yeah, we had already had our tickets for the Thursday night show, and then they sprang the early access on us after we had already got those tickets. Because when Brock actually went to look to get tickets, they didn't have any IMAX showings. No. Why are they not going to show this in IMAX?

What are you doing this week? Well, I mean, I'll go watch it again. I know Wednesday, we are actually going to try to go to the movies and watch obsession. We've heard so much ranting about it. Fidegan says I saved to this, uh, to support the project since February, four times screenings behind bought eight, eight times tickets.

1:10:15 Wow. Only one IMAX here, but enjoyed Dolby and I sense everything I've seen, like the, the intended audience that the movie was made for has been very faithful and multiple times. I will ask this, though, because this is me and everyone on this, and all the baby geeks here are going to get this joke. Did they release it in three-D? I don't know. I'll tell you how long it's been for me. The last three-D movie I remember seeing was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. I think that was the last three-D. Wow. We're about to get a new Harry Potter movie. I think that was the last one I watched in three-D in the theater. Wow. aside from that i think one of the force awakens was the last one for me i think one of the cars movies was in deep was in three d that i took my son to say cars three was in they i think they did a three d of that so that force awakens was amazing Oh my gosh.

That was the one and only time three D was ever validated for me. I can see some of the, some of the action sequences with the, with the ships and masters of universe would be cool in three D. Oh, I need to watch to make sure that I don't get the three D thing. i mean it'll be nice but not required yeah yeah okay so johnny blue says we've been waiting for this for forty years absolutely also witness melinda brett doing the shira intro dialogue and transformation bit with the sword oh that's awesome oh that is great that's awesome and this is the thing i wonder like i said i wonder who's going to be the big casting for shira because like i don't know the the what's his name playing um adam what is his name nicholas um don't ask me pronounce his last name of course i'm i'm very out of loop on a lot of the younger actors so i don't know everybody's which to me he was he was somebody i've not seen before but he did a great job so i hope i maybe did the same thing with shira maybe i somebody I saw a lot of people saying, like, Samara Weaving would be really good for She-Ra, and I can see that.

I wish we could zoom out and get a full camera shot of Jess with this sword. This sword is about as big as she is. I think it's like a foot shorter than her. No kidding. If you see the thumbnail, that's how big that sword is compared to her. It's massive.

It's just in the handle area, by the way. uh let's see johnny blue says amazon had giveaways at the premiere one sword a cool bag a couple core figures a popcorn bucket and soda cups still got them yeah okay good yeah that's what i got was the uh the grayskull popcorn bucket with the drink and then uh that sword i had to wait for three hours at the theater in line to get it um because they're like hey we open at eleven that's what they told jess on the phone we open at eleven come get it and then they wouldn't sell it until until close to two o'clock i told him i guess maybe i didn't ask the right questions but yeah well when we went wednesday to see it we thought okay good we'll be able to go ahead and get you know we got to the theater a little early so we're like we're going to get the sword and the popcorn bucket and they had two on the premiere night That's what we're assuming.

So that's why I went and sat in Vestavia for three hours, ate lunch, hung out and then ran in and got it.
